Diwan-i-am

A results of earliest manifestation of Shah of Iran Jehan's love for marble, Diwan-I-Am or Hall of Public Audience was the place wherever the emperor self-addressed the overall public similarly because the nobility. made between 1631-40, it's set near Machchhi Bhawan. the large auditorium mensuration 201' by 67' has flat roof and 2 arched red arenaceous rock gateways to the north and south. Made in marble, this 'jharokha' with a three-arched gap and adorned  with precious stones, was called the 'Takht-i-Murassa' (the Throne Room).
